The domestic guinea-fowl, popularly known as the guinea fowl, is a bird of African origin, more precisely Ethiopian. The domestic guinea-fowl or Numidia meleagris, has been bred for a long time in Italy and has adapted well to our territory.
Guinea fowls are free to pasture around green fields as long as they want. In fact there are no sheds, no stables, because it is not a farm! It is a place of true ecosystem, where chickens can move freely 7/24h with a presence of Maremma shepherds that ensure the protection of the environment from predators.
